Hafa Adai!

Welcome back students and teachers. I am happy to see you all back from vacation. I hope that your summer break was exciting and fun. Over the summer our school was scrubbed and painted through the help of the following Government of Guam agencies and military units. We extend our deepest gratitude and Dankulu na si Yu'us Ma'ase to: Bureau of Statistics and Planning, Ordot Chalan Pagao Mayor's Office, Department of Corrections Parole Office, Guam Fire Department, Delta Flight 36 Squadron Security Forces, United States Air Force and the Naval Hospital Sister Squadron. I am especially indebted to our staff for all their hard work in preparing the classrooms for the new school year.

I want to assure our parents that our school continues to strive to provide an excellent learning environment. Our teachers are trained and proficient in the Direct Instruction Reading, Language Arts and Math programs. We are in our 3rd year of providing these programs to our students and they have made good progress. We will also insure that our campus is clean, safe and complies with Public Health Regulations.

The SAT-10 results are in. Our school did very well. I am extremely proud of our accomplishment. I am especially proud that the scores for our 5th grade students topped all other GPSS schools across the content areas tested. Congratulations to the students and to their hard working teachers. You diligence and commitment were a BIG factor!
